The 39th annual Carfest and Cruiz-in put on by the 20TH Century Chevy Car Club takes place this weekend in Washington.
Dave Frye with the club says proceeds from registration fees, sales from a 50/50 ticket drawing and other monies raised, all go toward several community projects..
Registration time is 2 to 5 Saturday for the cruise. The cruise starts at East Side Park at 5:30 and will follow the same route as last year.
Carfest happens Sunday at the park. Over 100 awards will be handed out. Over 400 cars were in the cruise last year while over 520 vehicles were at last year’s Carfest.
