Ronald James Burton passed away June 9 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born in Washington on Oct. 31, 1946, to Harley J. Burton and Clara (Collison) Burton. He was married July 2, 1983, to Rita J. (Stafford) Burton.
Ronnie attended Jefferson grade school and graduated from Washington High School in 1965. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving four years with the U.S. Navy. He was retired from Crane Army Ammunition Center, Crane.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Rita; brother Michael Burton of Washington; and sister Karen Trautvetter of Oaktown.
Arrangements were entrusted to Gill Funeral Home. No service is planned.
