Miss Indiana and Outstanding Teen Pageants are in Zionsville later this month.
Starting next week, the Miss Indiana Scholarship Pageant will be celebrating Indiana’s Bicentennial. 61 young women from all over Indiana will gather in Zionsville to begin competition for more than 38 thousand dollars in scholarships and the titles of Miss Indiana and Miss Indiana’s Outstanding Teen 2016.
Southwest Indiana girls competing in the pageant include current Miss VU Kenadi Ader, Former Miss VU Kearston Anderson, and Miss Northwest Territory Julia Zhu of Vincennes.
Seven local high school students will be competing for Miss Indiana Outstanding Teen. They include 16 year olds Ellie Barmes, Bailey RheaLynn, 17 year olds Maddy Eakins and Asastasia Sharp-Keller all of Vincennes. !7 year old Ariel Demotte, and 15 year old Abigail Walker of Washington, and 17 year old Sophia Wilhite of Princeton. The Miss Indiana final competition takes place Saturday, June 18th.
