The city of Washington is advising residents that the painting of stripes for parking spaces, center lines and curbs will take place Saturday June 18th in parts of downtown Washington.
The streets involved are Main Street between 57 and Northwest 1st as well as 1st through 4th Streets between South and Van Trees. There’ll be no parking signs posted for the day. Traffic will be reduced to one lane at times but the streets won’t be completely closed. Work will take place in those areas again on Saturday June 18th . The painting is being done by Bill York with Elite Line Striping.
