Traffic stop results in controlled substance arrests

Two were arrested after the stop Thursday night.

 

 

-Two people are facing numerous charges after an 11:30 traffic stop at West Walnut and Northeast 10th in Washington last night.  The investigation resulted in charges against 38-year-old Charles Johnson Junior of Evansville.  He was booked into the Security Center for the unlawful manufacture or possession of counterfeit substances, possession of a legend drug, of marijuana and paraphernalia.  He’s also charged with dealing in a controlled substance and maintaining a common nuisance.  .  Also in the vehicle was 22-year-old Jenna Albritten of Montgomery.  Police arrested her for visiting a common nuisance and a petition to revoke a suspended sentence. Both were being held without bond.

-27-year-old Justin Williams of Washington was arrested on a parole warrant Thursday.  No bond was set.
