Pike County Chamber’s Azalea Blossom Festival is this weekend

Music, food, yard sales and fun all happening in Petersburg.

 

What’s become a spring time tradition continues this Mother’s Day Weekend in Petersburg.

It’s the Pike County Chamber of Commerce’s 2016 Alzalea Blossom Festival. Things kick off tonight downtown with a midway and live music.

Tomorrow, events happen all day which coincide with city wide yard sales throughout Petersburg.

There’s a color fun run at 9:30 tomorrow, a Timeless Classics Car Show at the First Methodist Church Parking Lot.  There are beauty pageants and festival rides.  Childrens activites food and other vendors are also part of the festival.

Tomorrow night’s live music features Jim and Lynna Woolsey at 4 followed by a gospel sing with Tom McCracken from 6 to 8 and the band Perfectly Harmless at 8.
