J&R Tool gets Crane contract

A major government contract is going to a Loogootee-based company. The U.S. Department of Defense is sending 7.2-million dollars to J&R Tool over five years to produce storage and shipping containers. The containers will be used to ship and store target sight systems used on the Marine Corps attack helicopter and multi-spectral targeting systems. The Department of Defense says all of the work will be performed in Loogootee. The Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane is contracting the activity.
