Details were released concerning a Wednesday crash involving a child and a golf cart.
One person was arrested in connection with the incident at 7:33 pm near Troy Road on County Road 250-south.
7 year old Kayden Bouchie of Washington was operating the golf cart with his mother who was running in front of the car and his father was running along side.
Reports say a car driven by 49-year-old Michael McClure of Washington hit the golf car in the rear. The 7 year old was knocked out of the car and into a ditch. He was taken to Good Sam in Vincennes and later transferred to Riley’s in Indianapolis.
Mcclure tested positive for for alcohol and was arrested operating while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury.
