Vehicle hits Plainville Co-op, truck hits a bridge guardrail near Odon


 
A vehicle ran into the Co-op building in Plainville on Saturday.  Accident reports state that 35-year-old Donnetta R. Drieman of Vincennes was in a 2000 Ford Explorer facing north at the building at just before 1-pm on Saturday. For an unknown reason the accelerator malfunctioned and the vehicle hit the building causing damage to the outside wall of the women’s restroom area.  There were no injuries.
 


 
 
An Odon man escaped injury when his pickup hit a bridge guard rail on Saturday at 9:18-am.
35-year-old James E. Wagler of Odon was in a 1999 Ford F350 traveling north on County Road 1100-east.  He’d crested the Hill south of 1450-South when the right front tire blew.  The truck hit the end of the guard rail pushing it into the engine.    Again Wagler was not injured.
 


 
 
Washington Police investigated a hit and run property damage crash on Saturday night.  A vehicle hit a fence at Northwest 11th and VanTrees and left the scene.  A description of the vehicle was given to police and it was later located at Northwest 21st and West Walnut.  No driver has been located.
