Margaret F. Norris, 90, passed away Sunday at her home.

She was born March 26, 1925, in Loogootee, to the late Walter and Georgia (Toon) Norris.

Margaret was a teacher for 33 years for the Loogootee school system. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed flowers, crosswords puzzles, books and her dog, Teddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Georgia (Toon) Norris; sisters, Mary Lou Bell and Anna France Norris; brothers, Donald Norris, Michael Norris, infant Walter Norris and infant Joseph Norris.

Margaret is survived by a sister, Betty Phillips of Bloomington; niece and caregiver, Nancy (Rob) Sterling of Loogootee; nieces and nephews, Mary Beth (Doug) Renard of Dugger, Rick (Connie) Norris of Loogootee, Michael (Sandy) Norris of Loogootee, Sharon (Bob) Hille of Odon, Bob (Susan) Bell of Loogootee, Phillip Norris of Loogootee and Frank (Carol) Phillips of Bloomington; special caregivers, Mary Kidwell, Leslie Dobbyn, Marsha Brett, Betty Schulthies, Kathy Truelove and Patty Baxter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon p.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loogootee, officiated by Rev. J. Kenneth Walker and concelebrant Rev. Leo Kiesel. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brocksmith-Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Martin County Humane Society.
