Carolyn Kay Duzan, 62, of Washington, went to her heavenly home Saturday. She was born to Jack and Marianna Emmick on April 11, 1953. She was a 1971 graduate of Washington High School. She married Brad Duzan on August 19, 2007. She was a past member of Fountain of Life Pentacostal Church. She loved rug looming, sewing, and the outdoors. She was a wonderful cook and loved her grandchildren, her dog Bruce, and her 2006 Ford Fusion.
She is survived by her husband, Brad Duzan; her daughters, Melissa Allen, April Allen, Amber Sutton (Travis), Loretta Allen (Nathon Hoffman); grandchildren, Ryan Davis (Ashley), Cameron Allen (Lenzie), Collin Allen, Bret Allen, Scott Bath, Dominic Depass, Malik Allen, Hadlynn Courtney, Madyson Sutton, Karagen Sutton, Waylon Sutton, Brionna Gully, Malcom Hoffman, Macie Hoffman; and one great-grandchild, Paige Elizabeth Davis. She is also survived by her sisters, Louise Nalker, Cindy Emmick, and brother Doug Emmick (Janet).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Marianna Emmick; one son, Tim Allen; one granddaughter, Audra Davis-Bath; and one sister, Jacqueline Sue Emmick-Huff.
A funeral service for Carolyn Kay Duzan will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gill Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences can be made online atwww.gillsince1872.com
