Weekend jail report

A Washington man is facing a half dozen charges after a weekend traffic stop.

State Police say a gold pick up was stopped on Meridian in Washington at 10:15-pm for speeding.  The trooper smelled alcohol and saw that the driver, 30-year-old Dustin Fuquay allegedly had signs of impairment. 

After trying to arrest him, police say Fuqay resisted and tried to push and pull away from the trooper and other officers on the scene.  After being put in the police car, officers noticed Fuqay managed to get his handcuffed wrists from the back to the front and he was taken out of the car. As he was being re-handcuffed, Fuquay continued to resist hitting officers with his shoulders and elbows and tried to spit on an officer.  He was taken to Daviess Cojmmunity Hospital where he tested .190 blood alcohol content.  He was also found to have smoke synthetic marijuana earlier in the evening.

He was jailed for battery on an officer, intimidation against a law enforcement officers, operating while intoxicated, operating while intoxicated endangerming a person and disorderly condu

 

 

Other arrests from the weekend……

 

36-year-old Joseph Myers of Washington was arrested Saturday for operating while intoxicate refusal, and 2 counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated engangering a person.  Bond was set at 5,000.

26-year-old Amanda McIntire of Washington was arrested for battery on Saturday.  She onded out of the security center.

 38-year-old Terry Wininger was arrested in Washington Sunday and charged with theft.  Bond was set at $2000.
