David Lee Gingerich, 52, of Loogootee, IN, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at his home.
He was born October 31, 1962 to the late Jacob D, and Rosa (Swartzentruber) Gingerich.
Dave was employed at D&G Timber in Odon. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fans, Indiana Hoosiers and St Louis Cardinals. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family.
He is survived by three sisters, Viola Wagler of Middle Branch, OH, Ida Mae (Ethan) Miller of Honea Path, SC and Sylvia (Elmer) Wagler of Loogootee, IN; four brothers, Aaron (Margaret) Gingerich of Madison, IN, Jacob (Patty) Gingerich of Montgomery, IN, Dan (Venita) Gingerich of Cannelburg, IN and Joe Gingerich of Loogootee, IN; several nieces and nephews; special aunt, Fannie (Clete) Gingerich.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Glenda Gingerich; great-nephew, Brandon Wagler; brother-in-law, Mervin Wagler.
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Kevin Swartzentruber at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Providence Mennonite Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 2:00PM until 8:00PM at Providence Mennonite Church.
