61 to Reopen through the start of 2015
State Road 61 will reopen to traffic in Monroe City, and will remain open for the rest of the Holiday Season.
Indiana Department of Transportation contractors will return to the site on or after January 5th.
After January 5th--as weather permits-- crews will close a portion of State Road 241 at Monroe City for the replacement of water and storm sewer lines, as well as resuming the closure of SR 61 through Monroe City.
The $3.5 million project is expected to be complete by the end of 2015.
