Pot, pills and cash found in marijuana investigation

        Five Washington residents were arrested on Monday as part of a city police and Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force investigation. 

        Nine search warrants were executed at 6:30-am all related to the distribution of Marijuana.  Four of the warrants were served in Washington.  Four pounds of pot, a handgun 190 pills of a Schedule 4 Controlled substance, paraphernalia and over $7000 in cash was confiscated.

        Arrested for dealing Marijuana and Maintaining a Common Nuisance were 23-year-old Ethan Emmons, 23-year-old Elizabeth Myers and 24-year-old Jonathan Garcia.    Emmons and Myers were also charged with Possession of Paraphernalia.  Also arrested were 23-year-old Heather Garcia and 22-year-old Tyeesha Jones charged with Possession of Marijuana and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

        Several law enforcement agencies assisted including;  The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Petersburg Police, the Pike County Sheriff’s Department, Police in Evansville Terre Haute and Bloomington and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police.
