State Police arrest 3

-Indiana State Police arrested 3 in a late night investigation.  35-year-old Justin R. Sears is charged with Dealing and Possessing Meth, Possession of Marijuana and Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon. He’s also charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance.  32-year-old Shane Hayden and 30-year-old Carrie Hayden are both charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance and Shane Hayden is also charged with Neglect of a Dependent.  The Hayden’s posted bond.  No bond was set for Sears

-A woman was arrested after a theft investigation Monday afternoon. Washington Police were informed about a purse taken from a vehicle parked at Tractor Supply in Washington.  Reports say the alleged thief took the purse while leaving another purse behind.  Police reports say 44-year-old Amy Roe of Washington was arrested for the crime after police responded to a hit and run on Wayside Drive. Roe is charged with Theft, Resisting Law Enforcement and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.  She had allegedly struck mailboxes on Wayside Drive.  A rear-view mirror believed to be from her vehicle was found at the scene.  She was booked into the Security Center without bond.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department served an arrested warrant on 47 year old Kevin E. Higgins.  He was wanted for Battery to a Public Safety Official and Resisting Law Enforcement.  Bond was set at $250,000.
