Vehicle theft and burglary reported; Several arrested in various battery investigation…

-A caller reported a Blue Toyota Venza missing from her residence.  They told the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department said it was in their driveway Saturday morning when she left home and came back Monday morning and it was missing.

-At about 2:10 on Monday morning police were called when a resident on Southeast 2nd reported a break in and a laptop, tablet, a tv and cell phones stolen. The complaint also said the apartment was trashed.

-Three people face Battery with Bodily Injury and Disorderly Conduct Charges after a Labor Day investigation by Washington Police.  49-year-old Robert L. Giles, 37-year-old Joshua Hambrick and 25-year-old Tarin E. Healy all of Washington were jailed without bond on the charges.

-A 19-year-old from Washington was jailed yesterday for Minor Consumption of Alcohol.  Washington Police arrested Dillon Marshall on the charge.

-Overnight, Washington Police arrested 26-year-old Dominic L. Major of Coldwater, Mississippi for Operating While Intoxicated. Bond was set at $2000.

-Vincennes police were called to a report of domestic battery at 8:45 last night at 1029 North 9th.  Upon investigation, 37-year-old Paul N. Barekman of Vincennes was charged with Level 6 Felony Domestic Battery and Strangulation.

-The Knox County Sheriff’s Department arrested 26-year-old Kendly Baptiste for Domestic Battery Monday.  He was jailed at just before 7 last night.

-At 5:12 yesterday afternoon, 50-year-old Brent Arthur was booked into the Knox County Jail for Domestic Battery. The arrest made by VPD.

-30-year-old Lucas Stewart was arrested by Vincennes Police last night for Operating While Intoxicated.
