(NETWORK IN) Rep. Luke Messer announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate Saturday, at his family’s annual barbecue in Morristown. His chief Republican rival will be fellow Rep. Todd Rokita. They’ll both be running in the Republican primary to try and oust Democrat Sen. Joe Donnelly, who Messer said votes with Elizabeth Warren “85 percent of the time”. Messer said he believes Hoosiers deserve a senator who would vote with them on a majority of the votes taken in DC.
