John J. Graber, 77, of, Odon, Indiana, died at 5:30 PM on Thursday, November 3 at his home. Born February 1, 1939 in Daviess County, he was the son of Joe L. and Martha (Raber) Graber. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by: his wife, Lydia (Wagler) Graber, whom he married October 16, 1958; two sons, Harvey and wife, Wilma (Schmucker) Graber of Odon and Joseph and wife, Joan (Graber) Graber of Odon; four daughters, Martha and husband, Larry N. Wagler of Odon, Mary and Husband, Amos Coblentz of Homer, MI, Katie and husband, Nicholas H. Graber of Odon, Rhoda and husband, Joseph D. Graber of Odon; daughter-in-law, Viola Graber and husband, Ben L.; 41 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; 6 brothers, Ben & Betty Graber, Paul & Katherine Graber, Levi & Martha Graber, Joe Jr. & Darlene Graber, Fred & Anna Mae Graber, Art & Leoda Graber; 5 sisters, Ida (Ora) Lengacher, Viola (Enos) Wagler, Keturah (Simon) Wagler, Esther (Frank) Wagler and Laura (Marvin) Wagler.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; 3 sons, Howard, Ira and John Jr.; daughter-in-law, Fannie Graber; 2 grandchildren, Miriam Graber and Martha Graber.
Viewing will be Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5 at the John J. Graber Residence. Funeral Service will be at 9:00 AM on Sunday, November 6 at his residence with Home Ministers officiating. John will be laid to rest in Graber Cemetery in Odon.
