No injuries in western Daviess County accident….one arrested after a Dubois County crash..

There were no injuries in an early morning Sunday morning accident.  It happened on US 50 in Barr Township east of County Road 825-east.

Accident reports say that 44-year-old Michael W. Patterson of Franklin, Indiana was driving a 1999 Expedition with a tow dolly pulling a BMW.   He was westbound when he said an eastbound vehicle crossed the center line and he swerved to the right to avoid a collision.  The Expedition went off of the right side of the road on the soft shoulder.  The tow dolly pulled the vehicle down an embankment where the vehicle’s went through a fence and hit a utility pole and sank in the mud in a private yard.

The driver of the other vehicle came back and asked if there were any injuries and then left.  That vehicle was described as a white mini-van with a female driver.

Again Patterson was not injured in the crash.
