Daviess Arrests

-A Washington man was arrested Saturday after an 8:05-am traffic stop at Center and Southeast 7th.  21-year-old Jeffrey Haney Junior is charged with operating while intoxicated with a prior and with endangerment.  He was also charged with driving while suspended, reckless driving and two counts of criminal recklessness. He posted bond.

-Washington Police were called to an accident at 12:39-pm on Saturday where a vehicle had hit a pole. The driver, 52-year-old Shelli K. Abbott of Otwell, l was arrested for operating with a controlled substance. Bond was posted.

-Sunday, 76-year-old Rex L. Delaney of Washington was arrested for operating while intoxicated and with OWI with endangerment.  Bond was set at $2000

Vincennes Arrests

-Vincennes police served an arrest warrant at 4:15 on Sunday at Ivy Lane Apartments.  45-year-old Roger M. Gillespie was picked up for failure to appear on charges of operating while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement, and disorderly conduct.

-Sunday at 4:15-am, 47-year-old Cory Douglas Wanke of Vincennes was arrested at the Hart Street Hucks on a warrant for criminal trespass.

 

-Saturday at 5:55, Vincennes police made traffic stop at US 41 north between Willow and Hart.  Arrest in the incident was 30-year-old Cacey Nicole Anderson of Edwaresport.  Charges included, possession of marijuana under 30 grams, possession of bath salts and citations for have false plates and no insurance.

-31-year-old Alicia Dawn Stephens of Bridgeport, Illinois was arrested after a traffic stop in Vincennes at 4:45 Saturday afternoon.  Stephens was charged with possession of meth, K2, and paraphernalia.  She’s also charged with attempted trafficking with an inmate.

-At 1:15 Saturday morning, a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Willow resulted in the arrest of 27-year-old Rodney J. Sherman.  He was wanted on a warrant for theft and possession of meth.  That arrest was made by state police.


 

Teens arrested in Jasper

Two Jasper teens were jailed after Saturday morning traffic stop on Newton Street near 12th Street in Jasper.  State Police report that while speaking to the driver, 18-year-old Macy Ann Kerstiens, and the passenger, 18-year-old Cassidy e. Englman, Troopers smelled burnt marijuana.  After a search of the vehicle, marijuana, a smoking pipe and scales were found.  Kersteins is charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.  Engelman is charged with visiting a common nuisance.

 

 


 

Winslow man arrested in Gibson County

-Gibson County authorities report they arrested a Pike County man after a traffic stop on US 41 near Lyle Station Road in Gibson County at 12:23 local time Saturday afternoon.  The vehicle was stopped because a temporary vehicle registration tag was hanging in the window. The driver, 44-year-old Timothy Gosser of Winslow was driving with a suspended license and he had two outstanding warrants from Vanderburgh County.  Greer was arrested and taken to the Gibson County Jail.
