Hoosiers who have suffered flood or storm damage this spring and summer are urged to report it

Uninsured damage reports are being taken online through the Indiana Department of Homeland Security website at IN dot gov slash DHS.

Any damage including structural damage or loss of personal property that occurred on or after June 7th can be reported.  You’ll be asked your name, address, phone number and the type of damage sustained.

If you have questions you can contact your local emergency management agency.

DHS says this is not an application for any grants or monetary aid.  The information will help local EMAs and the state with preliminary damage estimates to see if any federal aid is needed.
