Four people were injured Saturday in a crash on US 150 near Shoals that involved a bus carrying part of the Paoli High School Baseball team.

At 5:20-pm, 41-year-old Bart C. Drew of Washington was west in a Chevy Trailblazer and passed Panhandle Road.  Authorities say he then lost control in the curve due to the wet road conditions and collided with a 15 passenger Ford bus which was driven by Jeremy Ashley of Paoli.  The bus belongs to the Paoli School Corporation and was carrying Coach Ashley and six members of the Paoli High School baseball team.

Drew had to be extricated from his truck by the Shoals Fire Department and was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital.  Two of his passenger, ages15 and 9 suffered minor injuries and were taken to Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

A passenger on the bus, 17—year-old Connor Blair suffered minor injuries and was taken to IU Health in Paoli.

The crash is still under investigation.
