This Friday will mark the 15th annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service at the Daviess County Courthouse.
A 1pm ceremony will pay tribute to officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
124 federal, state, county and city police officers and firefighters across the nation died while on the job in 2014.
In Indiana 4 officers were killed and one firefighter lost their life.
The deceased will be recognized locally as the Washington Fire Department Bell will tol 21 times in their honor.
The Washington High School Choir and NJROTC will be in attendance.
The event I hosted by the Washington Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #101.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
