Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to see and learn about the history behind the Gutenberg Bible.\n\nThe FIRST PRINTED BOOK (1452)\, The Gutenberg Bible (perfect facsimile)\, will be presented at Gasthof April 8-9 and April 15-16\, by speaker Burkhard Masuhr.\n\nAdditionally\, unique gift items pertaining to the Bible and/or Gutenberg will be also available to purchase at Gasthof Giftshop. These beautiful and rare objects will be available every day at Gasthofs gift shop during their regular hours\, from April 8 – April 17th. A seminar is scheduled for both days at 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm. Tickets are not required to view this amazing bible on the event dates however\, space is limited for the seminar. You will need a ticket. Tickets can be purchased for $10 each\, available at the Gasthof Amish restaurant and Chandelier Barn or by phone 812-486-4900\, 812-486-2316.\n\nPurchase beautiful hand printed on handmade Gutenberg Bible pages. Some are individually colored and wonderfully framed. While unframed colored Bible pages are available\, as well. Additionally\, black & white printed pages are for sale. The world’s smallest printed book is available displaying the Lord’s Prayer in seven languages. Learn about Gutenberg and his times by obtaining the rare and most comprehensive\, full of colorful images\, book about Gutenberg.\n\nMost of the sales items are produced by the world-renowned Gutenberg Museum in Germany.\n\nCome and see yourself these and other items relating to the Bible\, Gutenberg\, printing and the world of golden literature at Gasthof.
