DESCRIPTION:Washington Schools will host a program featuring “Moment Makers in Sports” at a special community event on April 14.\nThe program will feature a variety of athletes including WHS alumni Sam Alford\, Dr. Ben Obaseki\, former Indianapolis Colts player Bill Brooks\, Voice of the Colts Greg Rakestraw\, University of Indianapolis Athletic Director Dr. Sue Willy\, and Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Director Chris May.\nThe distinguished individuals will meet with students and community members to talk about how sports helped them navigate their occupation and career.\nThe event is set for Thursday\, April 14 at 6:30 pm and will be held in the Washington High School Auditorium.
