Personal care with a Perinatal Navigator

  • At Daviess Community Hospital they provide a “family centered” approach to the birthing process that begins before the birth of the baby and continues after discharge from the hospital.
  • A Perinatal Nurse Navigator is there to educate and guide you throughout your pregnancy. She is available to help ensure that your pregnancy and birth experience are everything you hoped.
  • At Daviess Community Hospital, their Navigator is a registered nurse who has years of experience caring for pregnant patients and new moms, with a particular specialty for offering support to women with medical conditions affecting pregnancy and the postpartum period.
  • Desiree’ Lewis, RN, BSN, DCH Perinatal Navigator has been a nurse for 11 years at Daviess Community Hospital. After spending a short time in a Float Pool position she transitioned to Labor & Delivery to pursue her passion in Women’s Health.
