A Vincennes man is charged with attempted murder.
On Thursday, just before 3:00 pm, Vincennes Police responded to the 100 block of Wilbur Street in reference to shots being fired.
Upon arrival, officers located spent shell casings and made contact with the victim.
According to the victim, a subject known to him as 26-year-old Gaven Willoughby, fired multiple rounds at him and then fled the scene.
The victim was uninjured.
Willoughby was later located and placed under arrest for attempted murder.
He was booked into the Knox County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
