George W. Carrico, Jr., 79, of Loogootee, passed away at 4:42 a.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Loogootee Nursing Center.
He was born April 16, 1942, in Washington, Indiana to the late George W. Sr. and Mildred (Love) Carrico.
George was a United States Air Force veteran. He served his country for 4 years and was a Load Master on 747 Aircraft.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Sr. and Mildred Carrico.
George is survived by his wife, Jane (McGuire) Carrico of Loogootee; children, Bill (Michelle) Carrico and Sheila Chambers, both of Loogootee; grandchildren, Cody and Kaitlin Carrico and Stephanie Chambers; one great-grandchild, Zoey Greene.
George wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date.
