Lawmakers have advanced a bill that would place some restrictions on business owners requiring their workers to be vaccinated against COVID.
The bill would require employers to offer weekly COVID testing for workers who have a legitimate exemption from getting a shot.
The employer would then be on the hook to pay for those tests.
An amendment added to the bill, however, would allow employers to file reimbursement from the state for those tests.
Another amendment allows workers denied a vaccine exemption to file for unemployment at their employers expense.
