Thompson Insurance Donates $25k to DCHS

Thompson Insurance has made another community donation.
The agency donated $25,000 to the Hatchet Football Program earlier this week, and they have now donated another $25,000 to the Daviess County Historical Society.
The Daviess County Historical Society Board says the money will go towards the “Access to History Project.
The project involves rehabilitation of the first floor of the east portion of the Daviess County Museum.
Once completed, the museum will offer first-floor access to museum exhibits & programs in a new gallery, as well as a gathering space for meetings, ADA-accessible restrooms, a work area for volunteers, and a kitchenette for meeting attendees.
The Board has embarked on a $360,000 capital campaign to fund the improvements which include updated central heat & air conditioning for the renovated area.
The Board says they appreciate the commitment Thompson Insurance and Chet & Pat Thompson have to the community and its assets.
