It was another heavy week for new COVID cases in Daviess County.
The local Health Department reports 123 new cases of the virus have been confirmed since Friday, December 3rd.
Of those cases, 83 individuals were unvaccinated with 3 of those being children under the age of five.
The other 40 individuals were fully vaccinated.
2 more deaths have also been reported bringing that total to 119.
Daviess County is currently in Orange Status and is showing a 7-day positivity rate of 11.6% on the state’s COVID map.
All surrounding counties are also in the Orange and several northern Indiana counties have shifted back into Red.
