
The Daviess County Health Department reported Monday that since Friday, 62 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Daviess County. 56 of those individuals were unvaccinated, that includes ten children under the age of 11.
There have been 4,231 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 and 108 deaths due to COVID in the county since April of last year.
The Daviess County Health Department also announced that it will hold a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic this Wednesday for anyone 12 years of age or older.
Free COVID-19 testing will also be available.
It will be held from 5 until 7:00 PM at the Daviess County Health Department 300 E Hefron St in Washington.
The parking lot is located next to the office.
The COVID-19 shot is free to everyone in Indiana.
You do not need insurance to get it.
However, providers can bill insurance a fee at no cost to you.
