The Barr-Reeve tennis team won their match at Evansville North on Saturday 3-2 to go 14-2 on the season.
North Daviess tennis grabbed two wins over the weekend topping Evansville Harrison, and Evansville Christian. The SWIAC Tournament finals begin today at 4:30pm.
The Boys and Girls Soccer Sectional pairings were released last night in Indianapolis. The Boys 2A tournament will be held in Washington and it begins one week from tonight. Washington will open against Southridge, while Princeton faces off with Pike Central. The two winners will play in the semi finals, while Gibson Southern takes on Vincennes in the other semifinal match up at Washington.
In the 1A boys sectional at South Knox, eight teams will compete. North Knox faces White River Valley, while Rivet will take on MItchell. Washington Catholic will play South Knox, and Lighthouse Christian meets Bloomfield.
In the Jasper 2A Girls Sectional, Pike Central opens against Princeton, while Washington and Jasper will go head to head in the semi finals, and Vincennes faces the winner of Pike Central and Princeton.
In the 1A Girls Sectional at Sullivan, Washington Catholic drew Bloomfield in game one, White River Valley plays North Knox, and Sullivan take on Rivet. South Knox plays the winner of Washington Catholic and Bloomfield.
Washington Hatchet Volleyball team competed in tourney play on Saturday and fell to Bruebef and Brownsburg in straight sets. The Hatchets drop to 4 and 10 on the year.
