The United Way kicked off their annual fundraising campaign last night at Scoops Ice Cream in Washington.
Several came out to donate while enjoying some free ice cream.
Campaign Chair AJ Miles was on site and told us the Daviess County United Way has put a lot of money back into the community…
Miles says they are actively working on education and a safe needle program for Odon.
He also says the United Way has contributed over a million dollars to the community in the 5 last years…
To learn how you can give to the United Way of Daviess County, stop by the office on Van Trees Street in Washington, or call Zella Taylor at (812)-254-1038.
