Federal government ending Indiana’s work requirements for Medicaid

The federal government is ending Indiana’s work requirements for Medicaid.
The program required healthy Hoosier adults to have 80 hours per month of work-related activities, whether it was employment, education, training or community service.
Those requirements were a priority during the Trump administration, but the Biden administration has pushed to end them. Indiana can appeal the decision.
A case on the requirements is on hold at the US Supreme Court.
