A man arrested in Florida has been extradited to Knox County.
33-year-old Gustav Ryburn was arrested recently in Florida in connection to a Knox County Cold Case.
Police report Ryburn is accused of sexually assaulting and severely battering a woman back in 2008.
The incident happened on West Saint Claire Street in the woman’s apartment.
New digital technology was used to help track Ryburn down.
Police put together a composite back in January on the suspect’s facial features.
Ryburn is charged with Rape, Battery, Strangulation, and Burglary.
