Flooding was an issue Monday in Dubois County. The county’s Highway Superintendent Steve Berg says the rainy weekend coupled with leftover snow melt, caused a lot of standing water to form on roadways. The runoff has swelled the Patoka River. He says the flooding has made a few county roads difficult to trek and even closed a couple roads. Berg added that so far there has been no property damage, injuries, or trapped cars to speak of. Officials remind motorists to never drive through flood water.
