Senate drops $15/hr minimum wage from COVID Relief Bill

A 15-dollar-an-hour minimum wage increase won’t be apart of the COVID relief bill. Senate officials dropped it from the COVID relief bill yesterday. Senator Mike Braun says he supports raising wages, but not to 15-dollars an hour for everyone. He believes wage increases should be differentiated between the types of jobs people have, whether it be full-time, part-time, training wage, etc. Talking to Chuck Todd on MSNBC, Braun says small businesses would feel the strain of a 15-dollar-an-hour to the point they would lay people off.
