Two-time defending MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a triple-double with 21 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. One night after tying his career-high, Pacers big man Domantas Sabonis notched a new career-best with 33 points to go with 12 rebounds and six assists. Milwaukee led by as many as 40 and hit 21 3-pointers to drop the Pacers to 12-10. Indiana returns home to host Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans Friday.
Indiana football added wide receiver Malachi Holt-Bennett on National Signing Day Wednesday to close out their class of 2021. Holt-Bennett was ranked as a four-star player by 247 Sports and committed to IU over offers from Georgia, Ole Miss and UAB, among others. The 6-foot-2 Birmingham native was ranked as the 12th best prospect in Alabama and the 46th best wide receiver nationally. The Hoosiers inked 14 prospects on the early Signing Day in December, including four other four-star prospects.
