Galelah Rose Tedrow, 84, of Loogootee, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home.
She was born February 11, 1936 in Alfordsville, Indiana to the late Ottis Ulysses and Leona (Huls) Arvin.
Galelah married Walter Tedrow on March 8, 1953 and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2018.
She was a member of the Christian faith. She retired from CAAA as a sewing room supervisor. She enjoyed shopping after her retirement.
Galelah was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Tedrow; son, Joseph Wayne Tedrow; parents, Ottis and Leona Arvin; brothers, Gene (Thelma) Arvin, Melvin Arvin, Clyde (Louise) Arvin, Linus (Cecil) Arvin, Vaughn Arvin, still born Danny Joseph Arvin; sisters, Corrinna Arvin, Donna Gray and Dovie (Lawrence) Tedrow.
She is survived by a daughter, Shanan (Keith) Bradley of Martinsville; grandchildren, Tina (Lamont) Carmer-Smith, Veronica Tedrow and Jolene (Marco) Munoz; great-grandchildren, Elijah (Brenna) Carmer, Landon, Cameron, Dakota and Alexis Carmer, Antonia and Joseph Vega, Jordan Ja’nay and Jolee Rosalia Munoz; sister, Linda (Daniel) Fitch of Alfordsville; brother, Maurice (Beverly) Arvin of Iowa; sisters-in-law, Judy Arvin of Jasper and Lucy Arvin of Kokomo.
Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Blake Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee.
Social distancing and masks are required by all in attendance.
