At the ONB Classic at North Daviess – North Daviess held on to beat South Knox 42-36. North Daviess remains unbeaten knocking the Spartans back to 3-2. South Knox plays Rushville Friday at 2p. The Cougars will now face Loogootee Friday at 5pm. The Lions handed Rushville a 67-30 loss. Brownstown Central also grabbed a win topping Rock Creek Academy 64-44. And it was Southridge defeating Shoals 46-38. The tournament continues Friday at North Daviess.
At the Forest Park boys tourney yesterday, Vincennes Lincoln dropped a pair of games falling to NE Dubois 38-37, then losing to Christian Academy 48-46. Vincennes Faces Borden at 1pm today. The North Knox Warriors split a pair in the tourney beating Borden 70-66, then losing to Evansville Harrison 57-51. North Knox will play NE Dubois at 4:30pm.

Girls hoops yesterday, the Washington Lady Hatchets secured a big win on the road against a tough Heritage Hills team 49-33. Jade Browning led the way with 18 points. The Lady Hatchets travel to North Posey tonight. Varsity only tip off at 7pm on Memories 107.9fm.
The Barr Reeve girls played two yesterday at the Waldron Classic. The Lady Vikings fell to Blackford in game one 51-34. But won their second contest beating Indianapolis Herron 59-10. Congrats to seniors Hannah Graber and Tracy Stoll who were named to the All-Tournament team at Waldron.

The Indiana Pacers squandered a 17-point third quarter lead and lost to Boston Celtics 116-111 Tuesday night in Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The loss dropped the Blue and Gold to 3-1 on the young season, and it was the second time the two teams matched up in three days.
Rutgers defeated Purdue 81-76 Tuesday night in Piscataway, New Jersey. The 14th ranked Scarlet Knights got 25 points from Montez Mathis, and Rutgers was able to keep Purdue at bay down the stretch. The Boilers were led by Trevion Williams, who scored 21 points and pulled down 12 rebounds on 10-of-12 shooting. Isaiah Thompson scored a career-high 17 points with three 3-pointers off the bench to help bring the Boilermakers back from a 15-point first half deficit.
Notre Dame returns to ACC play tonight at home against 23rd ranked Virginia. The Fighting Irish are 3-4 overall and have not played a conference game since losing at home to Duke December 17th. Since then, the Irish lost to Purdue and beat Bellarmine, while having an ACC game against Syracuse postponed due to COVID-19.
Indiana tries to win its first Big Ten game of the season tonight when the Hoosiers take on Penn State at Assembly Hall. Indiana is 5-4 and 0-2 in conference play after losses to Northwestern and Illinois. The Nittany Lions are 3-3 and 0-2 in the Big Ten to Michigan and Illinois. Indiana is 5.5 point favorites and has won four straight over Penn State.
