Faculty members at the University of Evansville oppose the university president’s plan, or the university president himself. The Faculty Senate on Saturday voted 106 to 19 for no confidence in university president Christopher Pietruszkiewicz. Faculty members aren’t happy that Pietruszkiewicz is moving ahead with a plan to eliminate some school majors and lay off some faculty members. The Faculty Senate says they didn’t have any input on the president’s plan. Pietruszkiewicz says the changes are necessary to help the school survive into the future.
