On Sunday, the Indiana Department of Health reported 1,844 new cases of coronavirus across the state. That brings the total number of Hoosiers who’ve tested positive to 493,841. The department also reported 35 new deaths, bringing the total number of Hoosiers who’ve died due to coronavirus to 7,496. So far, over 5.5-million Hoosiers have been tested for COVID-19. The state’s current overall positivity rate sits at 8.1-percent, while the seven-day positivity rate is at 11.5-percent.
