Two wanted men arrested in Loogootee

Two wanted suspects were arrested in Loogootee on Thursday. Washington police learned that one of the suspects, 43-year-old Howard Phillips, was possibly at a residence in Loogootee. Phillips was wanted on a Dubois County Level 5 Felony warrant for Neglect of a Dependent. Washington police began investigating late Wednesday evening and into early Thursday morning alongside Loogootee PD. Officers conducted surveillance of the residence and made contact with someone who confirmed Phillips was at the residence. Officers then went inside and rook Phillips into custody. Officers also located a second wanted suspect and arrested him as well. Police arrested Jason Grow who was wanted on a PTR warrant in Martin County. Officers found several controlled substances on his possession, including methamphetamine. Grow was taken to the Martin County Security Center and Phillips was transported to the Dubois County Security Center.
