Girls Volleyball sectionals get in full swing tonight:
At Eastern Greene in the 2A tournament, Eastern will take on South Knox in the first match, while Southridge faces Barr Reeve in the second match. You can hear live coverage of Lady Viking Volleyball tonight at 7:15pm on the General 95.9fm / 101.3fm.

The NCAA announced the location for tournament games from 2022 through 2026, including multiple stops in Indiana. Bankers Life Fieldhouse will host men’s basketball first and second round games in both 2022 and 2024. In 2025, Lucas Oil Stadium will be the site of Sweet 16 and Elite Eight contests. It had been previously announced that Lucas Oil Stadium would host the men’s Final Four in 2021 and 2026. The state of Indiana will also be home to championships across multiple divisions in water polo, wrestling, indoor track and field, lacrosse, swimming and diving and golf.
The Los Angeles Dodgers scored 11 runs in the first inning and cruised to a 15-3 win over the Atlanta Braves in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series. The 11 runs were the most ever in an inning in postseason history.
In Game 4 of the American League Championship Series, the Houston Astros stayed alive with a 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. George Springer crushed a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth to give the Astros the lead for good.
The Indianapolis Colts were back on the practice field Wednesday in preparation for Sunday’s showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals. Left tackle Anthony Castonzo returned to practice after missing last week’s loss to the Browns with a rib injury. Linebacker Darius Leonard missed Sunday’s contest in Cleveland due to a groin injury and he did not practice Wednesday. The Colts are 3-2 and are taking on the 1-3-1 Bengals. Indianapolis is favored by 7.5 points for Sunday’s 1 p.m. kickoff.
