The Federal Bureau of Prisons’ website is reporting dozens of coronavirus cases at the Terre Haute facility. According to the latest website, there are 47 confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Terre Haute Federal Correctional Institute, including 45 cases among inmates and two cases among staff. There are also 47 confirmed cases of the virus at the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute, up from just twelve last week. All of those cases are prisoners.
