The fifth federal execution since July played out in silence. 45 year old Keith Nelson was on death row for the 1999 kidnapping of 10 year old Pamela Butler from her Kansas City, Kansas home, eventually raping and killing the girl. Nelson showed no remorse in his final minutes and made no final statement.
