Gary Alan Young, 70, of Petersburg, IN passed away on August 27 in Evansville, IN. He was born March 30, 1950 to Prentice and Virginia Young in Gibson County, IN. Gary loved to hunt and fish. One of his greatest passions was serving on the Spurgeon Fire Department where he was a lifetime member.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Mari (Charles) Schwarz of Petersburg and his grandson, Demetre Young. He is preceded in death by his wife, Erma Young; son, Kary Young; his parents; and his sister, Judy Foust.
A graveside service will take place at a later date.
