Washington schools and Loogootee Schools have both released statements regarding their Back to School Plans in response to the Governors last address. Washington Community Schools say they are still in the Green Phase of their Back to school plan and that they are not experiencing the same county-wide numbers that were depicted in Holcomb’s address on Wednesday.
Loogootee Schools released a similar statement saying they currently have zero students who have tested positive for the virus and only one staff member who has tested positive. Both Washington Schools and Loogootee schools are working closely with the Health Department to ensure everyone’s safety. Strict guidelines have been put in place and wil continue to be followed by all students and staff.
